THRUST is a High-Energy Hard Rock Band  from Jacksonville, Florida delivering the best of the '70s, '80s, and '90s Rock Music to stages across Northeast Florida and beyond. We grew up during the greatest rock 'n' roll eras of all time—raised on analog, vinyl, live shows, and unfiltered guitar riffs. This music of our Generation shaped us as fans and made us strive to be musicians, and now we’re proud to bring it to the stage with the power, precision, energy and passion that made this sound so iconic. Every THRUST show is a full-on rock experience that hits hard and stays with you. 

 Lead vocalist Wes Simons delivers each song with commanding energy and range, while Brian Wenzel captures legendary guitar tones with precision and feel. Cliff Mika lays down a tight, punchy bass groove and adds vocal depth with harmonies, and drummer Russ “Roundhouse” Anderson drives it all forward with dynamic, locked-in rhythms. We’ve built a loyal following that shows up loud and proud, supporting us in THRUST gear and singing along with our favorite songs. This is more than a tribute—it’s our way of keeping rock alive.

We cover everything from the pure Hard lick sounds of AC/DC, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, and KISS, to Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, The Cult and Black Sabbath, all the way through the Grunge era with Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots—and we do it with authenticity and respect.
